Marvel is relaunching Captain America with two series, one starring Steve Rogers and one starring former Falcon. Sam Wilson takes the lead Captain America: The Symbol of Truth With Steve Rogers Helming Captain America: Freedom Ranger. Sam and Steve will team up on Captain America #0 before leaving for their solo adventures. Captain America: The Symbol of Truth Coming from the creative team of writer Tochi Onyebuchi and Marvel Stormbreaker artist RB Silva, a new trailer teases some of the action in store for readers.

Marvel.com Describing the upcoming series, “2022 will define a new era of Captain America, one that will launch two running Captain America titles. Writers Jackson Lanzing and Colin Kelly and Marvel’s Stormbreaker artist Carmen Carneiro will tell of Steve Rogers’ adventures in Captain America: Freedom Ranger While writer Tochi Onyebuchi and Marvel Stormbreaker artist RB Silva will see Sam Wilson rise as Captain America once again in Captain America: The Symbol of Truth. Shield holders’ flights will start in April captain America #0 Where they will cooperate after an explosive attack by Arnim Zola.”
One takeaway from Captain America: Symbol of Truth is that Sam Wilson uses a redesigned shield. While Steve’s armor is red the dominant color, the color Sam uses replaces the outer red layer with blue. The star in the center is also larger and divided into four sections for a new era design. It helps differentiate the two shields, which is another sign that Marvel is making sure Sam Wilson is set up for success as he steps back into his role as Captain America.
“We basically just touched the surface of his interaction with the Marvel Universe,” said Onibuchi. Entertainment Weekly. “There are a lot of characters that haven’t yet interacted with Sam like Captain America, dynamics we haven’t seen yet. I feel like the world is my oyster. It was really cool exploring that with Sam, but also with Joaquín Torres, who is the hawk in this book.”
“We’ve seen Sam Wilson approach Captain America’s legacy and race in very internal terms with regard to America: What does it mean for America to accept a black Captain America?” Onyebuchi said. “One of the things I bring up in my book is, What does it mean for the rest of the world to accept a black Captain America? That’s another part of the equation. If Captain America is in many ways a parody of America, with all its good and bad ailments, what does that mean for the way America reacts to The rest of the world?”
